Improvements for release 2.0

In the coming months we would like to improve the XM tool in a number of ways:
  • User Interface
We have started developing a separate skin for eXtremeManagement in a package called xm.theme. In this skin we got rid of a lot of unusefull elements, like the navigation tree, portal tabs and default header. We learned from openplans and created a per project UI, because it's unlikely to work on multiple projects at the same time. Also the customer only sees what is of interest to them. We have gathered a number of features in the tasks section.
  • Content Types
Strongly related to the new interface we have a number of tasks that involve changing content types.
  • Reporting
Joris Slob has already made a graph feature for showing project velocity. This needs some tweaks to the current workflow, because you need to close all stories before you can end an iteration. This should be changed so that when closing an iteration, the rough estimates of all closed stories are counted to calculate velocity.
