Implementing a Geoserver application for FW Conservation.
What is Geoserver?
Geoserver is an innovative, rapidly developing open source project that integrates and powers many of the features in the current open source geospatial software stack. It is one of the first projects undertaken by the Open Planning Project, which describes it as "a key tool to connect legacy spatial databases to open standards, providing an easy way for organizations to share their geospatial information to be visualized and analyzed."
What is Freshwater Conservation?
Freshwater or watershed conservation is an emerging field of conservation science requiring innovative methods of field data collection, conservation planning, and ecological modeling.
