Overview

This is a place for grassroots people and tech people to come together to learn from each other, filling the divide.

The "home project" of this one is Grassroots Web project.

How to participate

Currently we have the following types of activities.

• Grassroots movies watching and discussion: go to list of grassroots movies , put the name of the grassroots movies that you want to watch. We will then create a poll where people can vote for the movies they want to watch. We will watch the movies starting from the one with the highest votes down to the lowest votes (maybe at least 5 votes?). Possibly we will have grassroots organizations or people related to the cause of the movie leading the discussion afterwards,
• Grassroot book reading and discussion: go to list of grassroots books , pretty much the same as above, and you vote here
• Learning of web tech: go to list of web techs that I want to learn+ , we will vote and find people to teach each web tech.
• Monthly Potluck or drinking (?)
