PLEASE CHECK the Tasks (top nav) for the to do list.... Assign stuff to yourself right before you do them. And tell everyone when you are done.
Proposed calendar as of Jan 9th 2007
Jan 10th:
Start pre-production. Focus on call for participation and user sign-up system.
Jan 14th:
Launch of promotional campaign -- tell people we are doing again. Depending on difficulty, could open the sign-up or leave it for later.
Create a temporary page on home page to inform of new version coming.
Ok, here is the proposed flyer--
Jan 21st:
Last day for us to open up sign-up.
Publish any new rules etc. on about page.
Finish installation of new WordPress and back-end stuff
---need to make new features and improvements + test etc. before launch.
Jan 31st:
Midnight: close sign-up
Open blog up for users --release new blog version.
Feb 1st:
Launch Project
Feb 28th:
Last day of creative sprinty
March xxth:
Some wrap up event

* Make sure hosting is clear and full access including dedicated database etc...
* New Rule: 3 days without posting, you get booted from the home page (list of active participants) and other direct links?
* The current plan is that we would archive the 2006 version as it is and start with a new fresh install. Old participants need to create a new account. (OR is there a better way to do this?)
* Main new additions (see the tasks page) are the "thumbs up" button to allow some form of support and feedback that is less involved than a comment + tagging for better navigation into the system....
