User Testing for TOPP
Related to the OpenCore Software project
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Types of User testing
We plan on setting up two different types of usability test, a formal one and a express one.
Formal testing should be used for larger releases or when the UI of a piece of software has gone through significant overhaul. Example of this is the launch of NUI version 1.
Express testing should be used as often as possible to test smaller releases, debrief ideas, make decisions and help support the continuous deployment of new features.
User tests could be based on
* paper prototypes
* interactive prototypes
* released versions
