This page is about me. So most sentences for the rest of the page will begin unapologetically with the work "I."

I live in Carrboro, North Carolina, USA, a little oasis where everybody walks, cycles, or takes the bus.

I am applications analyst for the Southeast Atlantic Coastal Ocean Observing System (SEACOOS) and the North Carolina Coastal Ocean Observing System (NCCOOS).

I am rapporteur of the Southeast Coastal Ocean Observing Regional Association (SECOORA) Data Management and Communications (DMAC) Working Group. I am developing a Plone site for SECOORA.

I am developing a Plone site for the National Federation of Regional Associations.

I am the founder of the Geophysical Sciences Iridium Special Interest Group.

I feel honored to serve on the Steering Committee for the Pleiades Project.

I do a good bit or organizing for the Triangle Zope and Python Users Group.

I'm the instructor for PyCamp. Ask me to organize a PyCamp for your area.

I like grappa, travel, modern art, classical architecture, Chapel Hill indie rock, and elegant bug-free software development.
