- The photo for our image on this site is from my organic labyrinth garden bean teepee in 2005. That was the best year for our Jack in the Beanstalk variety of green beans-20 foot vines!!!!! We are looking for people and organizations to get involved with Musical Pals-a voice camp for kids over age 6 that is an unforgettable growth experience for children. The director is also growing a children's choir with professional and visionary goals that meets throughout the year, and is an alternative to expensive choirs that have very little diversity. Let me know if you would like to assist in any way and I will connect you to the choir director so we can see an amazing community grounded youth opportunity flourish beginning right here in Portland. My daughter just finished the first annual Musical Pals Voice camp that ended with a lovely show with live music.. In 5 days she ended up with a beautiful solo, a recording of a song the campers wrote and performed for a homemade CD, being part of a truly inspiring medley performance of the Phantom of the Opera, and new singing friends that can hardly wait till their next reunion!
