  • Food

from Rolando Peñate on Aug 07, 2008 02:38 PM
Lily and I started talking about food for the Playa yesterday. Her
parents have a camping stove, so we're going to see about having Zoe
drive it (sicne we can't take fuel canisters on a plane). Also, we're
considering getting a cheap styrofoam cooler in Reno so we can have
some things like yogurt out there.

Wet and salty foods are yummy. Sweet dry stuff doesn't taste good.
    Sweet and wet is good.

    ----------------------------------------------------
    SUGGESTIONS
    ----------------------------------------------------
    Salt and vinegar potato chips.
    Pistachios.
Soup (Buy the expensive soup. I know it's twice the price of the
cheap stuff, but it's still cheap compared to fast food.)
    Yogurt.
    Granola.
    Peanut butter.
    Pretzels.
    Canned fruit.

Don't forget that sausage Jackie & Pete brought last year, that stuff
      was mad good.

I'd identify it in more detail, but, well, I forgot it. ;)

Oh, and get pickles too! This is very important!

(Sorry, I'll shut up now -- have a great time!)
