Opening of the ,eu domain name - April 7 2006 - Register now ! The registration of .eu domain name has recently started. The launch will happen in 3 phases*. As from April 7th everyone will be able to register his .eu domain name without limitation. During the first 2 “Sunrise” phases, protected names will have a priority treatment.        Opening Grand Public (LandRush 1) : all names on a “First Come, First Served” basis (7 April 2006) The .eu domain name is available to everyone without restrictions as from April 07 2006. Every European is able to register his or her .eu domain name on a “First Come, First Served” basis. Sunrise 1: trademarks and names of public bodies (07/12/2005 - 06/04/2006) The Sunrise 1 phase start on December 07 2005 and ends on February 06 2006.
