The dotCity project is a way to invite thinkers from around the world into our attempt to build a model for the democratic governance of a cityTLD namespace. We hope that dotCity discoveries will be useful to other cityTLD projects.
Our core collaborators are Tom Lowenhaupt (connecting nyc’s founder), Alex Linkser, and myself, Matt Cooperrider. We’ll be setting up shop at Gramstand’s Grassroots Tuesday weekly shared workspace.
Starting around noon today, we’ll be setting up the digital furniture for our ongoing web-based workshop. We’re always ready for more help, whether it’s five minutes or five hours, so come on by.
