While we see the not-for-profit model providing the best future for New York City's residents and organizations, we also recognize other views exist. For example, we note a website www.dotnyc.net  that promises to provide "Names for Everything New York." There's not much on that page about the effort, but it stimulated us to think outside the not-for-profit box and explore the opportunities provided by alternative modes of operation.  That exploration will take place here and summarized on the Enterprise page under the Other Models heading.
