OOTB Plone Themes

• Overview: Increase the number of themes that ship with Plone and track additional ideas that might improve the Plone Theme story for implementation at the same time or a later date.
  
• Team Members: Join the team and please indicate your area of expertise any an additional helpful information. We're looking for designers, skinners, and programmers to help shepherd this project, and we'll likely be breaking down into several smaller teams. Please state your availability, especially if it is limited.

Revised / cleaned up themes to be added to svn by May 5th.

Signups for 2nd round of themes will start on Tuesday, May 6.

Goals:

• Identify who wants to be involved, and in what capacity. Identify your area of interest here.
  
• Identify which themes we will use , wordpress or otherwise. Sign up here to claim skins.
  
• Determine our timeline. What release are these themes to be timed for? Set milestones for getting all of the pieces in place based on this date.
• Test the themes.
• Identify changes that need to happen to plone.org to support a stronger theming story. This will involve examining the competition and liberating some ideas. This will likely also include some work in the documentation area to more clearly point to 3.0 documentation.
  
• Identify the role that Deliverance might play in the theming story and try to arrange testers and sample use cases.
  
• Give volunteers the direction they need to create and polish these themes documentation, best practices, sample base theme .
• Lessons learned .
  
• Determine if a future sprint is in order
