What's this?

An attempt to consolidate and make sense of the testing process for the openplans suite in the hopes of getting some more systematic (yet modifiable!) procedures for More Excellent Software, particularly in light of the upcoming woonerf release.

  • Overview: We test and QA openplans software; the main development site is at http://www.openplans.org/projects/openplans.
  • Goals: What do you want to achieve? Coherence.
  • Planning: What steps need to be taken? (Mel: Plenty. Mostly finding out what's going on with testing in the first place.)
  • What can I do? See below. Also, grab Mel for random testing tasks; she will learn, document copiously, and then everybody will be able to do them! (Theoretically.)
