IRC Clients and Channels
last modified October 1, 2007 by rmarianski
Information on IRC Channel important to developing opencore
IRC forms the basis for most basic support and developer collaboration.
Clients
- OSX: Colloquy
- Windows: Trillian
- Linux: Konversation
- Multiplatform: Chatzilla, X-Chat (I personally use xchat -- ianb)
Channels
All of the channels that we regularly use for TOPP activities are on the freenode network, irc.freenode.net.
- #plone
- #z3-base
- #zope3-dev (when is #zope3-dev more appropriate than #z3-base?) (#zope3-dev is for pure zope3 concerns, perhaps even development OF zope3. #z3-base is focused on use of z3 technology within the Five context.)
- #openplans
- #pythonpaste (good for anything WSGI-related)
- #listen
- #pylons
