This page describes architecture

Microformats are simple formats embedded into HTML.  These are easy to add, and can be done across a variety of applications built on different technologies.  They are also simple to understand.

Here are the formats we want to support where they are applicable:

• hCard
• hCalendar
• rel-license
• rel-tag
• hAtom (relates to the notifier+ as it might read these -- note also hatom2atom)

We should also start consuming these internally.  This probably requires some notion of an event architecture to know when pages appear (since it's silly to try to spider our own site internally).
