SubPlone Sprint
SubPlone is a framework and API that allows a single Plone to present it self as dozens of independent Plone sites. University departments and facilities where there may be dozens of research projects that need independent web sites are environments where SubPlone can be particularly effective.
Notes
* <runyaga> i believe ensimplestagings 'sandboxes' would be good candidates for "subplones"
* <dcnoye> probably a good idea to get access to the plone collective asap.
Goals
1. SubPlone needs to be made to work with Plone 3.
2. Define what functionality and user interfaces we want to provide in a base SubPlone interface product.
3. Get a shell for the product defined.
Participants
- Kurt Bendl (KurtB) will weigh-in with interface ideas and try to get some people who have done development with SubPlone to sprinkle tidbits of knowledge in the general direction of PSU (without twinkling, of course.)
- Brandon Gadie (UofL) will be there.
- Titus Anderson (flew2bits) will be there, one way or another.
- Darryl Noye (dcnoye) is buying the first round of beers for all that attend this sprint :D
- Ian Anderson (ianderso, usually) would like to help in any way he can
Location
The subplone sprint will be in the Smeal Business Building in these rooms…
- Room 124 on March 14
- Room 214 on March 15-16
