What you need to bring

A laptop:

  • Capable of getting on a wireless network
  • Loaded with the Firefox web browser plus at least one other browser (Safari, Opera, Camino... IE if you really must)
  • Please install the following add ons into your Firefox if you don't already have them: Web Developer, Firebug and Link Checker

If you want to try to install Plone on your laptop, go ahead, but it's not essential to have it installed at the start of day one. The "Get Plone for [whatever platform]" links on http://plone.org/products/plone typically make installation a breeze.
