it looks pretty good, but i'd like to avoid the added efficiency hit  
in revision 34424 (http://dev.plone.org/collective/changeset/34424).   
in the comment you say that the test is failing b/c "the  
registrations for IContentMenuItem in Plone 3.0 can't be adapted".   
can you say a little more about this?  what, exactly, is the problem  
that is causing this test to fail?  is it related to the named  
adapter issue that the object_implements comment currently on the  
trunk alludes to?
