Hi, I'm new to the Plone world and all. I'm trying to use your SampleRemember as my deafualt member but I'm having problems with it. I followed the steps in the tutorial and installed membrane, remember and SampleRemember but I get the following error: Error Type AttributeError Error Value 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'getId' I found a entry on the forum with the same kind of thing but I'm not sure of the step he talked about. http://www.openplans.org/projects/remember/lists/remember/archive/2007/04/1175905355365/forum_view >Hola! > >I've been trying to get a sample custom remember type up and running as a >proof of concept before starting my "real" custom member. I followed the >tutorial docs in the product and made a standalone custom package called >"ploner". (I couldn't find the sample member type referenced in the >docs). You can find this package in the collective: > >https://svn.plone.org/collective/ploner/trunk > >Everything installs (through GS) just fine, but when I go to join, I get >the following error. I've been poking at it, and still am, but I hope >someone might be able to point out what I've overlooked. > >Also, I only have "Member" as a choice in the "prefs_remember_settings" >screen. No "Plonista". >-- >~Spanky Later he said: >Uh huh, that did it. Apologies for not seeing that, but at first I had no >Plonista type at all, only a Member (which showed up as "Member >(Plonista)" in the Types Tool. Now that I have a Plonista type (after >doing the two steps), I do see it in the Membrane Tool. What is the two steps????
