The meetings keep getting better.  Jen and the NYCLU came away with a ton of great ideas.  Now it's up to her to digest them and see which ones might actually make sense for her group.  Once she reports back, we can talk about what to do next.

In the meantime, I went to digg the marijuana story.  Before they let you submit, Digg presents you with possible duplicates.  There were 8 articles concerned with the report.  I didn't actually check, but it appears as if all of them worked off the NYCLU press release.

The one with the most diggs just reprinted the NYCLU press release verbatim.  Great for getting the word out; bad for driving traffic to your site.  Seems like a little strategic digging could move you to the top.

I ended up not submitting the article, because I think it now qualifies as a duplicate.
