How you can prepare for the sprint BEFORE you get there.

Membership Track

If you're interested in working on the membership track of the sprint, then you'll want to get set up w/ the svn versions of a bunch of software.  For Plone itself, you should be using the Plone 2.5 bundle for Zope 2.9.  In addition, you'll want the svn trunk versions of membrane and remember.

Geospatial Checklist

Plone

We're sprinting on Plone products, so the latest Zope/Plone releases are fine.

  • Python 2.4.3
  • Zope 2.9.4
  • Plone 2.5

PrimaGIS User Interface

If you're interested in working on one of the user interface topics, you should try to become familiar with

  • PrimaGIS SVN trunk: http://trac.gispython.org/projects/zope/browser/PrimaGIS/trunk
  • OpenLayers: http://openlayers.org

PrimaGIS and Zope3

If you're interested in working on the Zope3 component architecture story, you'll need to get up to speed with

  • PrimaGIS zope3-prototype branch: http://trac.gispython.org/projects/zope/browser/PrimaGIS/branches/zope3-prototype
  • ZCO zco3 branch: http://trac.gispython.org/projects/zope/browser/ZCO/branches/zco3

Wiki and SVN Permission

Sprinters need to get permission to edit the PrimaGIS wiki and commit to SVN. See the doc at http://trac.gispython.org/projects/PCL/wiki/GetInvolved for instructions on getting permission.
