Thanks for passing this on. Unfortunately @font-face is currently only supported in Safari, but it should be available in the next version of Firefox (3.1) and next version of Opera both likely due out in the next few months. I think IE8 might even support it too. This is probably the CSS3 property I'm most excited about, I can't wait. It's really cool to see how rapidly the Webkit/khtml/Safari team is innovating with bleeding edge CSS properties. I had a really weird experience recently where I suddenly though it would be a cool idea to let you define a mask with css. Meaning you could set text or some sort of vector shape (or image with transparency) to act as a mask for another image. It turns out this was just implemented in webkit: http://webkit.org/blog/181/css-masks/ cool stuff. -phil Sonali Sridhar wrote: > you guys might be interested in downloading some of > these: http://www.webfonts.info/wiki/index.php?title=Fonts_available_for_%40font-face_embedding > On Jul 1, 2008, at 5:44 PM, Carly Clark wrote: > >> And I'm out of office: >> >> 7/25 - 8/1 >> >> Carly >> >> >> On Jul 1, 2008, at 5:35 PM, Rolando Penate wrote: >> >>> In the interest of giving Bryan, Chris, and Phil all the time they >>> need to wrap things up before going on vacation, we will not be >>> having a design team meeting tomorrow.
