  • New delicious UI

from nickyg on Aug 26, 2008 11:51 AM
Today I went on and noticed that they'd rolled out an entirely new UI
at a new URL (delicious.com instead of del.icio.us)

Have you guys seen it yet? Any opinions?

    http://delicious.com/

The new version keeps the overall simple aesthetic while adding more
deliberate thought to the design, user experience and branding. I
don't have any opinion yet on whether I think it's better, and might
not develop one, since I mostly use delicious through browser plugins
    and rss feeds anyway.

    Ya i saw this!

I loved the incremental design shift! Though the number of links you
see on a page are less - the redesign on the tags and popular tags are
really helpful. I agree that once you start using all the Firefox
plugins you dont experience this page often. I go into the main site a
lot to search and browse for particular sites that people are looking
    at vs. google.

Phil and I were talking about this a while back in the context of the
Melkjug redesign. I initially didn't like it but it has grown some on
me. One of the things I dislike most is how it makes tags look
hierarchical with that little breadcrumb looking thing.
