Hey Carly, Glad you liked Dave's talk, and sorry I missed it! Didn't even know about it, as it wasn't listed on the wiki page<http://www.openplans.org/projects/topp-talks> (not to worry, I just added it). We actually had a tech-talk up here today by the fabulous rmarianski. Head over to http://www.openplans.org/projects/topp-talks/lists/topp-talks-discussion and subscribe to stay tuned for more. Also a reminder that we have a section of SVN for s5 slides if anyone wants to put slides with their talks: https://svn.openplans.org/svn/presentations/ Yeah, these are great. For what it's worth, I had been thinking we could use the topp-talks project itself for keeping peripheral stuff like slides. I guess this doesn't work as well if people make their slides as a series of webpages instead of a single document... Anyway, for the programming basics talk, I didn't use slides, but there is a wiki page on topp-talks meant to be a quick recap of what we discussed. Those of you that were there, please feel free to add in info that you found interesting. http://www.openplans.org/projects/topp-talks/programming-basics -David On 2008-03-05 14:51, Nick Grossman wrote: > Also a reminder that we have a section of SVN for s5 slides if anyone > wants to put slides with their talks: > > https://svn.openplans.org/svn/presentations/ > > Yeah, these are great.
