Mel is technically an electrical and computer engineer from ­Olin College, but has spent the last few summers writing software at places like Design Continuum and the MIT Media Lab and is now at TOPP as a spring 2008 intern to apprentice as a hacker while simultaneously saving the world (or trying to). Outside the office, Mel studies engineering education, volunteers excessively for One Laptop Per Child and enjoys speaking in the third person.
