#347: Granny causes flash of light! ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- Reporter: tcoulter | Owner: Type: defect | Status: new Priority: major | Milestone: Component: FrontEnd | Keywords: ----------------------+----------------------------------------------------- In a very rare case, Granny seems to cause a white blink when moving the map while the popup is opened. 1. Go to the latest Vespucci. 1. Click on Granny. If this is the second or a subsequent time you've loaded Granny without clearing your cache, jump to step 4. 1. Close the Granny popup, then re-click on it to get it to open up again. 1. You should see scroll bars because the Granny image is too big for the popup. Using the vertical scroll bar, scroll all the way down. 1. Move the map without letting go until the top of the popup's horizontal scrollbar is outside of the map's viewport. Let go. Notice you should see a flash of white light (a white blink). Looking further: Play around with step 5, trying to figure out exactly where the blink boundary exists. Notice that the blink will keep happening as long as the Granny image is vertically scrolled a la step 4 (though it can be scrolled any amount, as long it is at least scrolled a little bit). If the scrollbar is not scrolled, the blink does not happen. I'm using FF version 2.0.0.13 on Ubuntu Linux 7.10. -- Ticket URL: <http://projects.opengeo.org/vespucci/ticket/347> Vespucci <http://projects.opengeo.org/vespucci> NYC Map- Thread Outline:

It can be scrolled any amount, though it must not be in the top (read: normal) position.
