Hi!

I wrote a PLIP to enable the replacement of the current syndication  
implementation by a 3rd party product like Vice. If this is accepted,  
then Vice can easily be tested by interested people, which makes it's  
inclusion in Plone 4.0 much more likely.

Please review the PLIP and add or write to me about any necessary  
changes.

The deadline for PLIPs for 3.1 is the 14th!

I'm pretty sure I would get the necessary changes in without a PLIP,  
but I want to follow the rules as much as possible, so the process for  
PLIPs and Plone releases is used and improved if necessary.
