  • Preparing for 0.96/1.0

    Hey all,

I'd like to propose a few things for the upcoming release (regardless of what we call it :D).

1. I think we should have a feature-freeze, with the exception of anything that's already actively being worked on and is nearly finished.

2. We should prioritize the open tickets marked for 0.96 and decide what we think is critical (and therefore should be finished before any release) and what can be moved to a future release. I'm happy to do this, but I want to get some feedback from you all first.

3. It'd be good to have a target date to shoot for for an alpha/beta release. Proposals? I'm inclined for something soon, e.g., in the next week or so.

What'd you guys think?

I agree...  I'm just working on bugfixes for the last of already coded  
stuff

I'll join in as well.  Raimund, do you have any specifics for the  
release that you want t see done or skipped?

I must admit, I think this week is a bit too soon (just because I'm  
gone for half of it for Thansgiving) but what about next week?
