Paternity: 

Muhammad Yunus Supporters Association (MYSA) is the paternity of Yunus Forum. MYSA was founded in October 15, 2006 and marked its official launch in October 25, 2006 by Prof. Dr Muhammad Yunus in an inaugural ceremony in Tokyo, Japan. Yunus Forum is the modest version of Muhammad Yunus Supporters Association (MYSA).

Vision:

Yunus Forum envisions to make all the Yunus’ fans and interested scholars stand in a platform to support Dr Yunus in all of his thoughts and actions as well as bringing a positive difference in some global phenomenon.

Yunus Forum also envisions to promote all concepts by Dr Muhammad Yunus: Micro credit, Social Business, Social action and so on

We are committed to let the world citizens know what Dr Muhammad Yunus does for the globe to change.

Yunus Forum will be organised locally, regionally, internationally. In terms of membership Yunus Forum will be of three categories:

 

a.       Yunus Forum - International

b.      Yunus Forum - Country

c.       Yunus Forum – City

The driving force of Yunus Forum will be its Executive committee consisting of 7 members. Yunus Forum – International is elected by Executive Committee. The tenure is 3 years. Yunus Forum – Country is elected by international committee and needs to be approved by Executive committee. The tenure is 2 years. Yunus Forum – City is elected by country committee and needs to be approved by international committee. ( Yunus Forum Team members will be announced soon)

Yunus Forum: University Sub Network

Yunus Forum has expanded its space for students under University Sub Network with the followings activities.

1. To study how Yunus’ thoughts work for the globe to change
2. To spread the message of Social business to fellow students nay of world citizens
3. To analyse the  affect of micro credit & social business in alleviating the poverty
4. To make some flyers on Yunus and hang up at campus for mass awareness
5. To hold periodical working meeting
6. To hold monthly assessment meeting
7. To interact with neighbouring university networks
8. To organise inter network debating on Yunus’ ideas
9. To hold meeting at campus where no network is organised
10. To write article/blogs on Yunus’ ideas and pass them to others
