Hi all, Could all signed-up content authors (and anyone else, really) please reply on list quickly to say: - what you have done so far to populate content? - what you plan to do next? - what is standing in your way? Looking at http://zode01.lovelysystems.com, ZODB is coming along okay, CMF and Zope 3 have some intro text, and the community section just needs minor revisions. I had hoped we'd be a little bit further along by now. ;) I'll start the ball rolling: - So far, I've set up the basic content structure and tried to find people to help contribute content to areas they're responsible for - I plan to reach out to the Plone and Grok lists to see if we can get someone to own the Zope 2 pages and the "getting started" pages - I'm struggling with time because my day job workload has doubled in the past two months, but I am still committed to seeing this through. Cheers, Martin

You should have edit rights everywhere, I think... if not, please let me know! Martin

I've provided a *small* amount of content to the Zope 3 section. Mostly I've been working on a system for publishing API documentation from the various .txt files in SVN into a format that fits in with the new site. I've developed a custom sphinx skin and buildout recipe for generating documents across multiple packages. You can see the first beginnings of getting this content up here: http://apidoc.zope.org/z3c.form/ Next I plan to go through the source tree, adding the necessary buildout sections for generating the documentation, getting them up on apidoc.zope.org, and then creating a listing page that links to this content on the new zope.org. The only thing standing in my way at this point is hours in the day. - Paul On Sun, May 18, 2008 at 4:00 AM, Martin Aspeli <optilude@...> wrote: > Hi all, > > Could all signed-up content authors (and anyone else, really) please reply > on list quickly to say: > > - what you have done so far to populate content? > > - what you plan to do next? > > - what is standing in your way? > > Looking at http://zode01.lovelysystems.com, ZODB is coming along okay, CMF > and Zope 3 have some intro text, and the community section just needs minor > revisions. I've created the initial introductory text for the ZODB, and the green illustrative zodb image. I've also created subpages for the community section, but I don't have the permission on the workflow. I would also like to write short texts for the entry pages, based on some important keywords. I will have a little more time now. I've also been playing with blender to draw a 3D representation of the component architecture. I've used these images for Pycon FR. Do you think this kind of images could be interesting for some parts of the site ? http://ccomb.free.fr/zca3d/index.html Christophe Martin Aspeli a écrit : > Hi all, > > Could all signed-up content authors (and anyone else, really) please > reply on list quickly to say: > > - what you have done so far to populate content? > > - what you plan to do next? > > - what is standing in your way? > > Looking at http://zode01.lovelysystems.com, ZODB is coming along okay, > CMF and Zope 3 have some intro text, and the community section just > needs minor revisions. Wichert or Jodok, Can we put kupu trunk on the server? This is a bug in Plone 3.0.6 and 3.1.1 that makes this drawer in kupu not work for non-admin users.
