Prologue at the Delta of Venus Cafe

Sprint participants are invited to come and make office at the Delta of Venus Cafe, 122 B St, on Friday afternoon.  They have a great carribean food, excellent beverage selection and solid wifi.

Saturday Feb 2

Sprint Kick-off meeting at 10:30

This meeting will take place in 104 Sproul so that we can use the phone line and speaker phone in this room to connect with the remote sprinters.

Party, 7pm

274 Cottage Circle. Join sprinters and the Davis-area Plone community for a party at the downtown home of Steve McMahon. Within easy walking distance of campus and downtown hotels.

Sunday Feb 3 

Sprint 11:00am - 5:00pm 

Dinner @ 6:30pm and Discussion Forum: Using Web Tools to Restore Ecosystems - 7pm

N Street CoHousing - RSVP to Kevin Wolf for directions.

On Sunday evening, Feb. 3, long time environmental activist and dispute mediator as well as founder of Wolf and Associates. Kevin Wolf will facilitate a discussion on how the tools that Plone coders are creating can make a real difference in the recovery of endangered species, the cleanup of pollution, the eradication of dangerous invasive weed species and other efforts to restore ecosystem health. He will bring his professional facilitation skills to the workshop as well as his knowledge from having worked on dozens of projects where better web based tools would have made a substantive difference in how quickly and cheaply success was reached.  This is a good opportunity for everyone to share their knowledge as well as for programmers to understand better why this work is of vital importance.

Monday Feb 4 - Evening

Meet and Greet + Lightning Talks at the Center for Mind and Brain

Sprint participants are invited to come and make office at the Center for Mind and Brain.  They have a great location with food and premium connectivity, conferencing equipment, and lots of coffee.  We will also have time slots for lightning talks and post-sprint coordination.  

At this event we will also have a discussion where participants can give input to the folks who will be attending the strategic planning summit to make sure their views will be represented even if they cannot attend in person.
