Intern Class of 2022

Open Plans interns gain real-world experience in advocacy, research and public policy. Working closely with a staff mentor, interns pursue a specific project for the duration of their internship. With their mentors, interns gain valuable connections and learn from insiders in communities, city agencies and fellow advocacy organizations.

  • "I’m excited to start working on my graduate thesis. I have tons of ideas and inspiration from working at Open Plans."

    Marium Naveed, summer ‘22 intern

  • “I'm so grateful for the opportunity to learn from the staff and fellow interns!”

    Walker Johnston, summer ‘22 intern

  • “I hope any future interns will find their time at Open Plans to be as supportive as mine was!”

    Henry Mei, summer ‘22 intern
